「守破離展Ⅱ」　2019年2月19日（水）- 25日（火）　
この度、京都高島屋にて新進気鋭の陶芸家、ガラス作家さんたちと共に展覧会をご一緒させていただくことになりました。書道の私を入れて７名のアーティストによる「守破離」をテーマとした作品展です。この半年間「守破離」と向き合い、作品制作に集中してまいりました。私にとって古都京都での暮らし、そして海外の皆さんとも書を通じて繋がっている、そんな背景が今回の作品にも見えるような気がいたします。お時間ございましたら是非とも会場にお立ち寄りください。

5 ceramists, 1 glass artist and me, Japanese calligrapher get together under the theme [Shu-Ha-Ri]. This is a Japanese martial art concept which describes the stages of learning to mastery. It means [Protect(traditional wisdom), detach(breaking with tradition) and leave(transcendence)].
